[MyDaily staff writer Park Seong-gyu] SOOP announced on March 10 that it will launch "Virtual University," a new training initiative for virtual streamers.

The program pairs novice virtual streamers with established virtual talents who will act as guest instructors, offering a mix of lectures and hands-on workshops focused on broadcasting techniques and content production.

The inaugural session is set for March 19 and will feature Gosegu of virtual group Isekai Idol, who will discuss content planning, on-camera hosting, and tactics for engaging viewers.

SOOP is also expanding its support ecosystem. Its "Welcome Virtual" program, which helps newcomers kick off their streaming activities, currently counts about 200 participating streamers.

A SOOP spokesperson said the company will boost production infrastructure and educational resources to ensure virtual streamers can debut and grow sustainably, strengthening the broader virtual-content ecosystem.
