On the 9th, Han Hye-jin posted photos from the play Her Mother to her social media account, writing, “Seoyeon is remarkable — so impressive. The photos show Jin Seo-yeon after the final curtain, joined by Han Hye-jin and Kim Hee-sun, who arrived with bouquets to congratulate her.
The three women smiled warmly in the images, capturing the congenial atmosphere in the theater.
Kim Hee-sun shared the same photo with a supportive caption: “Our Seoyeon is really, really amazing. It was so moving.”
Jin Seo-yeon responded, “I love my beloved 'Next Life' princesses!” creating a warm exchange among the trio.
The three first formed a bond while working together on TV CHOSUN’s weekend miniseries Because There's No Next Life, and they have continued to support each other since the drama wrapped.
Her Mother, the play starring Jin Seo-yeon, is based on a true story by British playwright Evan Placey. Critics have praised the production for its realistic portrayal of Brenda, a mother of a juvenile offender, and for its unflinching depiction of the psychological anguish and social ostracism she endures. Jin takes on the emotionally demanding role of Brenda and has captivated audiences with a commanding, intense performance.
Her Mother will run at Myeongdong Arts Theater through May 17. thunder@sportsseoul.com
