JTBC's Can't Do It Alone airs tonight (March 10), bringing hosts Jun Hyun-moo, Choo Sung-hoon, Lee Su-ji and Lee Se-hee to Busan with guest Kim Gwang-gyu. The group embarks on a retro-themed youth trip, sampling must-visit local eateries and tackling a theme-park gauntlet that alternates between thrills and disappointments.
During the episode, Kim and Choo uncover an unexpected overlap: when Choo was competing as a judo athlete, he once lived in Seogu, Busan — Kim's hometown. Kim even jokes he might have taken a hit from Choo back then, sparking curiosity about their shared past.
Kim and Lee Su-ji also bond over a painful common experience: both say they were victims of jeonse rental scams, South Korea's lease-deposit fraud. \"It felt like my whole world was collapsing,\" Lee admits, then opens up about how she rebuilt herself, leading to a candid, heartfelt conversation.
At one point, Kim fires a blunt question at his close friend Jun: \"You don't want to meet anyone, do you? You've dated so much.\" Jun responds with a resigned chuckle, \"Do whatever you want. I won't argue anymore. I'm obsessed with women — and now I'm tired of it,\" prompting laughter and underscoring the pair's easy, playful chemistry.
Still on the lookout for a partner, Kim quips that his ideal is someone with \"strong hip joints,\" a remark that's equal parts funny and poignant. When he says he'd be open to someone older, Lee and Choo offer to introduce their mothers, and the banter even leads to the single Kim being jokingly called \"dad.\" Later, in a surprise twist during a marriage discussion, Kim declares a sudden decision to remain unmarried, leaving the cast taken aback.
