On the 11th episode, MBC's 21st Century Grand Lady depicted Seong Hee-ju (IU) proposing to Prince Ian (Byun Woo-seok) — and being turned down.

That day, Ian declined her proposal, telling Seong Hee-ju — who had been emphasizing her wealth, beauty and accomplishments — that he's always dreamed of marrying for love.

Unfazed, Seong Hee-ju ordered a staffer to dig into Ian's background and mapped his regular haunts. She began appearing at his riding stable, favorite restaurants, the cinema and even his jogging routes, leaving him visibly unsettled.

She tossed out lines like "I've missed you" and "You go watch the movie — I'll watch you." When Ian visibly recoiled, she brazenly teased, "Didn't you say marrying for love was your dream? Consider this me shooting my shot."
