She said she had been buying fewer clothes to be more environmentally conscious, but after several years she ordered a puffer jacket online. When it still hadn't arrived a month later and the seller stopped responding, she grew concerned.

Her husband, a judge five years her junior, suspected it was a scam and urged her to report it. Acting on his advice, Park went in person to the police investigative unit to file a complaint and ultimately had the money refunded.

The episode will also reveal the behind-the-scenes story of the Gulliver Phone commercial that helped change her career.

Park said she was cast as a last-minute replacement for Song Yoon-ah, who had been the director's first choice. The director had wanted Song for her chic, urban image, but when her appearance fell through the then-newcomer Park stepped in.

She recalled that after the Gulliver Phone ad aired, fan letters flooded in from soldiers, and she immediately felt a surge in popularity. The commercial propelled Park to stardom in advertising and helped establish her in the entertainment industry.

Park Jin-hee's account of overcoming the online scam and the story of her debut will air on 'Problem Children of the Rooftop' on the 12th at 8:30 p.m. KST.
