[MyDaily = Reporter Han So-hee] Actor Yoo Yeon-seok was visibly surprised after a shaman delivered an unexpected reading about his marriage prospects.
On the 11th, the YouTube channel '유연석의 주말연석극' posted a video titled "Is the Spirit Gate Open? Yeon-seok and the Divine." That day, Yoo returned to the shaman who had consulted on his current drama and sat down for a follow-up session.

The shaman told Yoo that, at first glance, his face and physiognomy had changed and his energy felt different. Yoo, taken aback, said no one had touched him. The shaman explained that Yoo’s "spirit gate" was open — when an actor dives deeply into a role, the character’s energy can sometimes enter.
Recalling an early production setback, Yoo noted that he rarely gets hurt doing action scenes, yet his arm swelled badly at the start of this shoot. The shaman read that as a sign of spiritual energy, saying Yoo has the capacity to portray ghostly roles convincingly.

The shaman offered a sunnier forecast for Yoo’s career, predicting a strong run throughout the next 12 months and significant luck over the coming decade. "Your chart draws both money and popularity," he said.

But the reading on marriage was less encouraging. When Yoo asked about his chances of marrying, the shaman gave a blunt assessment: the odds are roughly 10 to 20 percent. "You’re so successful you’re fated to live alone," he said, adding that marriage could bring worry and make domestic life difficult — a prediction that visibly surprised Yoo.
The shaman also noted that extended downtime doesn’t suit him; even a month off would likely leave Yoo feeling restless.
Meanwhile, Yoo currently stars in SBS's drama "God and the Law Office," where he continues to connect with viewers.
