Former SONAMOO member Kim Nahyun has announced that she is expecting.
On March 14, Kim posted on Instagram that while she and her partner were preparing for their wedding, “a precious gift arrived first.” She shared ultrasound photos and baby items, explaining that they took time to be cautious but are now in a stable period and wanted to share the news.
Kim added that although the sequence of events changed a bit, this new chapter feels like an especially meaningful beginning for them. She said they plan to take their time with the wedding and likely won’t hold it for about a year, and asked for warm blessings from fans.
Actress Joo Hyun-young commented, “Oh my — Nahyun, congratulations!” and Choi Yeon-su, who is currently pregnant after marrying Dickpunks’ Kim Taehyun, wrote, “Welcome, baby.” Numerous friends and colleagues have sent their congratulations.
After leaving the girl group SONAMOO, Kim transitioned into acting, earning praise for roles in dramas such as Don’t Lie, Ra-hee and Tale of the Nine-Tailed: 1938, as well as the film Eight Suspects. She recently appeared in the web drama Contract Marriage with My Childhood-Friend CEO, which premiered on Vigloo.
