[MyDaily = Reporter Kim Kyung-hyun] The Doosan Bears (President Ko Young-seop) announced on April 23 that they will stage a ceremonial first-pitch event to wish the team luck before their April 25 regular-season game against the LG Twins at Jamsil Baseball Stadium.
The honored guests for the first pitch are Jaurim, one of South Korea’s most celebrated bands. Vocalist Kim Yuna will throw the ceremonial pitch, bassist Kim Jin-man will act as catcher, and guitarist Lee Seon-gyu will take on a ceremonial umpire role, bringing their support and energy to the field.
After the game, the club will present \"D-STAGE,\" a special-match performance. Following N.Flying’s April 18 appearance, Jaurim will be the second act, performing live on a temporary stage set up on the field and promising fans at Jamsil an unforgettable show.
Jaurim members said, \"We’re honored that all of us will stand together as Doosan’s first-pitch throwers. We’ll deliver a memorable pitch full of our hopes for victory. During the postgame performance, we want to unite with the fans and share our energy.\"
Doosan said it will continue collaborating with artists across genres through D-STAGE to offer fans a distinct, enhanced game-day experience.
