Jang Nara's Agency Crisis: What You Need to Know About the Tragic Incident

[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Reports emerged that an agency official identified only as "A," formerly affiliated with actress Jang Nara, was found dead. Jang, however, had already severed ties with that agency, her representatives said, issuing a cautious statement.

On the 10th, Jang’s representatives told multiple outlets they were cautious about commenting and stressed that Jang and her current agency have no connection to the matter being reported.

Her camp also clarified that Jang left Lael BNC and is now working independently, saying she signed an exclusive contract with Lael BNC in February last year but terminated it in August.

Earlier, MHN Sports reported that the individual identified as A was found dead on the afternoon of the 9th. The outlet said he left a note, and police are investigating the exact circumstances of his death. MHN added that Jang’s former agency had recently been embroiled in disputes over investments.

Jang’s representatives said the incident is unrelated to the actress and emphasized that the priority now is to ensure the funeral is handled properly.

Meanwhile, Jang earned praise for her portrayal of Cha Eun-kyung in SBS’s popular 2024 drama Good Partner. Building on that success, she is slated to appear in Good Partner 2, which is preparing to begin filming.
