Park Jin-young will step down from his role as an executive director at JYP Entertainment.
JYP Entertainment said on the afternoon of March 10 that Park will not seek reappointment as an executive director at the shareholders' meeting scheduled for March 26.
He plans to concentrate on his creative work as an artist, mentor rising acts, and pursue new external initiatives to support the K-pop industry.
Since his debut in 1994, Park has worked as a singer, songwriter and producer, and he will continue to advance various projects across the K-pop industry.
