[MyDaily = Kim Jin-seok] Jo Se-ho, who has been at the center of recent controversy, spoke candidly about his state of mind.
On the 8th, Netflix's Do Driver: The Rival aired a segment staged as a \"Top High School Girl\" contest to elect the class president.
Dressed as students, the cast filed into the classroom, and Jo Se-ho performed an impersonation of Im Nami from the film Sunny. When he appeared, Hong Jin-kyung quipped, \"That look is scary,\" and Joo Woo-jae joked, \"This is a girls' high school, not a boys' school,\" drawing laughter. Kim Sook asked, \"Have you been crying a lot lately? Your face looks very puffy.\"
Jo Se-ho acknowledged that he'd been dealing with some personal matters recently. Hong Jin-kyung teased, \"You really put the weight back on — looks like the yo-yo effect is back.\" Announcing his run for class president, Jo pitched himself by saying, \"I have a lot more free time than you do. I can handle personal tasks you normally can't.\"
He added, \"I can run bank errands, take care of household chores, accept deliveries, answer calls at any time — I can even work as a designated driver,\" a list that drew more laughs from the cast.
Last year, an explosive social media post leveled allegations against Jo Se-ho. A user identified as A posted a photo of Jo with a man and claimed the individual was a key organized-crime figure operating illegal gambling sites. The post alleged that Jo promoted a franchise effectively owned by the man and received expensive gifts from him.
Jo Se-ho's camp denied the claims as unfounded. Still, viewers launched petitions on broadcasters' message boards calling for his removal, and he was subsequently pulled from 1 Night 2 Days and You Quiz on the Block.
