(The CEN News / Reporter Lee Seung-min) 'Groom School 2' has released exclusive stills from its first shoot, featuring returning host Lee Seung-chul alongside new MCs Tak Jae-hoon and Song Hae-na, as well as newly added cast members Kim Sung-soo and Jin Yi-han. Channel A’s series — which has charted the romantic growth of prominent bachelors for about four years — returns upgraded as 'Groom School 2' after a three-month break.
'Groom School 2,' which premieres March 19, brings back Lee Seung-chul, who has led the show as its on-screen \"principal\" since launch, and welcomes Tak Jae-hoon and Song Hae-na as new MCs. Veteran participant Kim Sung-soo will be joined by Jin Yi-han and Seo Jun-young, completing a refreshed \"Grooms\" lineup that promises a broader range of romantic storylines.
At the first studio shoot, the cast’s camaraderie — built on long-standing friendships in the entertainment industry — set an energetic tone. The released stills show married Lee Seung-chul, divorced Tak Jae-hoon and single Song Hae-na watching a pre-recorded clip and reacting with lively enthusiasm. In the studio, Kim Sung-soo and Jin Yi-han used cheek-heart and hand-heart gestures and an onslaught of playful charm to flirt their way into the moment, sending the room into fits of laughter.
Lee Seung-chul and Tak Jae-hoon, who share a close senior-junior bond in the music scene, fell into coordinated teasing aimed at the Grooms, reviving their trademark mischief. Tak Jae-hoon and Jin Yi-han also watched footage of Jin’s date together, their genuine best-friend chemistry further heating up the atmosphere.
Producers said the cast was fully immersed in the footage from the first episode, which includes Kim Sung-soo’s deepening dating scenes — following his budding relationship with show host Park So-yoon last December — and Jin Yi-han’s blind-date segment, which came together after a strong recommendation from Tak Jae-hoon.
They added that the two men’s heart-fluttering and unexpected encounters, paired with the three dating-savvy MCs’ timely interventions and unfiltered banter, will deliver stronger entertainment and immediate thrills from the premiere.
With the new lineup igniting energy from the first taping, Channel A’s 'Groom School 2' premieres March 19 at 10 p.m. KST.
