Lee Jae Yong and Chung Eui-sun, chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, were spotted wearing the same luxury puffer vest in quick succession, turning heads and prompting chatter about the fashion choices of corporate leaders.

Industry sources say Lee Jae Yong returned from a European business trip and landed at the Seoul Gimpo Business Aviation Center (SGBAC) in Gangseo District on the 13th.

Photographers captured him wearing a white puffer vest layered over his suit.

The piece is from Italian luxury label Brunello Cucinelli and retails for roughly 5.6 million KRW (about $4,200). The item is currently sold out.

This wasn't its first outing: last September, a YouTuber's Kyoto travel vlog showed him wearing the same vest while dining solo at a ramen shop.

Chung Eui-sun has also been seen in a padded vest from the same brand.

In October, he wore a Brunello Cucinelli goose-down vest to a so-called "kanbu" meeting at a chicken restaurant in Samsung-dong, Gangnam. Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, and Lee Jae Yong were also in attendance.

Online reactions ranged from amused to intrigued. Some commenters said it felt symbolic that "true comrades" Lee Jae Yong and Chung Eui-sun were sporting the same label.

Another user suggested that Brunello Cucinelli pieces offer freedom of movement, which might explain why the chairmen favor them.
