Shinhan Bank hosted the family running event "2026 Seoul Stroller Race with Shinhan 20+ Ddieoyo" around Seoul Children's Grand Park on May 10 to mark Family Month.

The 5-kilometer race—about 3.1 miles—was open to families with infants, toddlers and elementary-age children. Rather than emphasizing competition or times, organizers focused on parents and children walking and running together to create healthy family memories. The running platform Runable organized the event in partnership with Shinhan Bank's running program, Shinhan 20+ Ddieoyo.

Shinhan 20+ Ddieoyo is a running-challenge service available to any customer aged 18 or older through the Shinhan SOL app. Users sync a running app to track workouts, earn "running cash," complete missions and receive preferential rates on a dedicated savings product. A recently added running-crew feature lets families, friends and clubs set goals and share records, expanding the social side of the experience.

Members of Shinhan 20+ Ddieoyo can also earn up to a 7.5% annual interest rate through a special Shoe Savings account, allowing customers to pair regular exercise habits with tangible financial benefits.

At the event site, organizers offered a lineup of family-friendly activities alongside the 5 km race. Highlights included MY FLOWER CART, where participants decorated strollers with floral arrangements, plus photo zones, family video booths, a pot-planting class, magic and bubble shows, face painting and other hands-on activities that drew enthusiastic participation.

Race entrants received race packs and finisher souvenirs, and on-site booths provided games and additional prizes to keep the atmosphere lively.

"We designed this event so customers could enjoy healthy family time and naturally experience Shinhan SOL Bank's everyday services," a Shinhan Bank spokesperson said. "Going forward, we will expand customer experiences that connect exercise, leisure and financial benefits around Shinhan 20+ Ddieoyo."

Since launching Shinhan 20+ Ddieoyo late last year under the slogan "The more you run, the bigger the benefits," Shinhan Bank has continued to roll out content that links exercise with financial services.
