The event is a lap-time competition run on driving simulators.

The tournament was conceived around the group’s “Proactive Culture” initiative, aimed at increasing employee autonomy and creativity while promoting more horizontal communication.

This year introduces team-based participation: employees are forming three-person teams with colleagues they don’t usually interact with, an arrangement meant to echo the company’s internal “Better Together” campaign.

Qualifying runs continue through the 28th of this month, with the final set for the 6th of next month. The top 10 teams will advance to the final, where each team will choose one of two courses to post their best lap times.

The winning team will receive invitations to “Driving Day,” a company-only experience at Korea Technoring in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, which features high-performance driving and technical experience programs.

A Korea & Company Group spokesperson said the program gives colleagues who usually interact only in work contexts a chance to bond through friendly competition, creating memories while strengthening communication and collaboration.
