Summer dressing is evolving: shoppers now expect pieces that combine real performance with on-trend style. UV protection, in particular, has become a non-negotiable for warm-weather wardrobes. New York–based premium hat label SHINJEO answered the call with a preview of its 2026 S/S collection, revealing a sun-ready lineup built for both everyday life and getaway weekends.

From April 8 to 11, SHINJEO hosted a 2026 S/S collection preview at its showroom in Gangnam, Seoul. The event marked the first public unveiling of the season’s pieces. True to the brand’s DNA, the collection emphasizes a smart balance of function and fashion—designs meant to polish a full look. Noting the growing demand for sun protection, SHINJEO expanded its sun visor and bucket-hat offerings, beefed up its wide-brim sun-hat range, and proposed fresh ways to style summer sun protection.

On opening day, model and TV personality Lee Hyun-i stopped by the showroom. She drew instant attention wearing the Moniel bucket hat—praised for strong UV protection—and the season’s standout, the One Mile Sun Visor.

The Moniel bucket hat is designed as an easy, casual staple that works just as well for daily runs as it does for travel. It’s made from a lightweight, flexible fabric for comfortable wear, and an internal Velcro band lets you fine-tune the fit for stability on the move.

The One Mile Sun Visor focuses on all-day comfort. It’s crafted from a low-pressure material that reduces pinch during long wear and can be rolled up for compact portability—perfect for tossing into a tote. “We aim for designs that sit naturally in everyday life and travel,” a SHINJEO representative said. “This collection delivers both practicality and style.”

The wider fashion world is seeing lifestyle shifts that put health and outdoor activity front and center, boosting demand for performance-driven apparel and accessories. Hats and visors have moved beyond merely shielding faces—they’re now styled as essential fashion pieces. SHINJEO’s new collection taps into this move by combining authentic UV protection with versatile silhouettes, signaling the brand’s push to solidify its place in the market.
