Alluxe, the luxury beauty-and-fashion service, has just added niche perfume houses Kilian Paris and Frédéric Malle to its lineup. The move broadens Alluxe’s perfume-focused category and further elevates its luxury-beauty offerings.
Frédéric Malle, a French brand that calls itself a “perfume publisher,” gives its perfumers the freedom to craft scents without the constraints of time or marketing demands. That creative liberty results in bold, original fragrances—most notably Portrait of a Lady, a rose-forward scent that perfectly embodies the brand’s olfactory philosophy.
Kilian Paris was founded by Kilian Hennessy, a descendant of the Hennessy cognac family. The brand translates the founder’s olfactory memories and artistic inspirations into distinctive scents, carving out a unique identity. Kilian operates five collections—Fresh, Narcotic, Cellar, Smoke, and Liquor—and the sweet, crowd-pleasing Love Don't Be Shy is one of its signature offerings.
To celebrate the new arrivals, Alluxe has created a dedicated try-on space for both houses inside its experiential pop-up Salon de Alluxe in Seongsu-dong. The initiative builds on last year’s Art of Luxury exhibition, produced in collaboration with the Seoul Museum of Art, where Alluxe paired artworks with fragrance to craft a standout customer experience. This time around, the brand is focused on conveying each house’s artistic narrative, going beyond mere scent sampling.
An Alluxe representative said, "We're thrilled to introduce two global perfume houses with singular artistic sensibilities. We'll continue to expand differentiated luxury experiences that delight all five senses."
The Salon de Alluxe pop-up runs in Seongsu-dong through April 26.
