[MyDaily = Reporter Park Rosa] Actress Park Kyung-hye bought a dehumidifier to prepare for the summer.
On the 11th, her YouTube channel 'Kyung-hye Bolla' posted a video titled \"Spring Car Wash + Managing Indoor Humidity for Summer.\"
Park said, \"Summer already feels like it's arrived in my apartment. People always say you haven't truly lived alone until you've gone through an entire season on your own. Winter went by fine, and now summer is coming.\"
She explained she realized summer was approaching when the rainy, humid weather left her laundry slow to dry and starting to smell. The mold she had worked hard to remove felt like it might return. Thick cotton items, like towels, stopped drying properly. \"Even after washing my hair and wrapping it in a towel, my hair smelled. The odor just wouldn’t go away. So I made up my mind and bought a dehumidifier,\" she said.
Park said she bought the unit on the recommendation of people experienced with living alone and then filmed an unboxing.
After hanging her laundry, she ran the dehumidifier. The next day she said she couldn’t film taking the clothes in, but they had dried within a day. \"There’s no smell, and the apartment doesn’t feel damp. It’s so fresh. I highly recommend dehumidifiers to single-person households that dry clothes indoors,\" she added.
Park lives alone in a 6-pyeong studio in Gangnam, Seoul. Her monthly rent is reportedly ₩590,000 (approximately $442.50 USD).
