[TV Daily reporter Kim Han-gil] Singer Lee Ji-hoon is spreading a message of empathy and solace with his new single "A Decent Person." Since releasing "A Decent Person" on the 20th, Lee Ji-hoon has continued promotional activities and recently unveiled a sign-language version of the music video. The video was produced to reach more people, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing, reflecting an effort to extend communication beyond music. The sign-language release launched a challenge that included cast members from the show Our Ballad and several of his labelmates. Song Ji-woo, Cheon Beom-seok, Jung Ji-woong, and Shohei joined the campaign, helping sustain its momentum. The singing challenge drew a wide range of participants from broadcasters to athletes. Kang Ho-dong, Lee Soo-geun, Hwang Jae-gyun, Yang Se-chan, Jeon Hyun-moo, Seo Jang-hoon, Kim Hee-chul, Hwang Je-seong, and Yoon Jong-shin all took part under the concept "The Decent Brothers Ji-hoon Met," attracting public interest. Artists including Kim Yong-jun, Lee Seok-hoon, Ji Seung-hyun, Hwang Ga-ram, Kim Young-woong, and Lee Hak-joo also joined the challenge, each offering their own interpretation of the song. In this way, "A Decent Person" has spread through both sign-language and vocal performances, broadening the reach of its message. The song is a ballad designed to resonate broadly — from office workers winding down their day to middle-aged listeners and younger adults. Centered on the message "You are more than enough," Lee Ji-hoon's plainspoken vocals lend the track a gentle, lingering warmth. Meanwhile, Lee Ji-hoon is scheduled to meet fans at the Our Ballad TOP6 busking performance in Gangnam Square on May 1. [TV Daily reporter Kim Han-gil news@tvdaily.co.kr / Photo credit: SM C&C] |
