"I'll Be a Star" expresses a fervent wish to shine even in darkness. The song offers a hopeful promise—to be a steady light, like a star in the night sky, for oneself during lonely or weary moments.
This is Hwang’s first new music in about 14 months, since his third full-length album, ALL OF ME, was released in February of last year. Known for stirring listeners’ emotions with hits such as "Song I Listen to Every Day" and "You're Stuck Inside Me," Hwang aims to comfort audiences again with "I'll Be a Star."
