The Broadcasting, Media and Communications Commission has launched a nationwide public consultation to gather policy ideas and proposals for its First-term Vision, which will guide the agency’s work and action plans over the next three years.
The BMCC said on the 13th that the consultation runs from today through the 30th. Anyone can submit proposals through the agency’s website or by email.
The First-term Vision will outline the commission’s priorities and action plans for the coming three years, reflecting its stated aim to serve as a public communications body.
Individuals and organizations may submit policy ideas or recommendations focused on crisis response and long-term preparedness in broadcasting, media and communications.
The BMCC will use the submissions to draft the First-term Vision and will publish the plan publicly at a later date.
Kim Jong-chul, chair of the BMCC, said, "We want to set the course for this new agency in dialogue with the public. We welcome suggestions on policies related to broadcasting, media and communications."
