On March 17, SBS’s variety series Whenever There's a Moment airs an episode in which hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok welcome actors Park Sung-woong and Lee Sang-yoon for a laid-back day of exploring Daechi-dong.
In one segment, the four bond over dad jokes, and the results are delightfully contagious. When a bowl of ulmyeon—a noodle dish whose name in Korean sounds like \"to cry\"—arrives at the lunch table, Lee Sang-yoon kicks off a pun: \"Kids don't eat ulmyeon well — they shouldn't 'ul-myeon' (cry).\" The groan-inducing quip makes Yoo and Park flinch. Park quickly labels Lee a master of dad jokes, only to find himself and Yoo swept up in the punning spree moments later, prompting peals of laughter.

Yoo admits, \"Don't dad jokes pop into your head every day?\" and then fires off an impromptu quiz at Park: \"What kind of tea does Santa hate?\" Park nails the answer on cue and then confesses, \"Actually, I enjoy reading '500 Dad Jokes' with my son,\" revealing just how earnest he is about the genre. The trio—self-described cute dads—trade jokes throughout the segment, and even the last holdout, Yoo Yeon-seok, gradually warms up, leaving the studio doubled over.
Elsewhere in the episode, the trio's competitive energy explodes during an intense al-kka-gi showdown, a nostalgic Korean tabletop game. They take on the challenge to entertain a Go instructor with 44 years of experience. Initially excited, the three quickly break a sweat as the game proves tougher than expected. Despite his imposing physique, Park Sung-woong curls his shoulders and focuses so intently that his hands tremble, transforming into a nervous, comic figure. When Yoo Yeon-seok teases them—\"Aren't you guys too tense?\"—Yoo Jae-suk jokes that he should not have worn stiff clothes, setting the room roaring with laughter.
Whenever There's a Moment airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m.
