On March 26 (local time), local outlets including Sanook reported that during the Miss Grand Thailand 2026 preliminary round, 18-year-old Pathum Thani representative Kamolwan Chanago had a dental veneer come loose while introducing herself. The small piece attached to the front of her tooth popped out of her mouth.
Chanago stayed composed. She turned, retrieved the dislodged veneer and, within about two seconds, faced the audience again with a bright smile.
The pageant was being streamed live on YouTube, and the crowd applauded as she completed her walk and poses without showing any sign of embarrassment. The clip quickly spread across social media, where viewers praised her poise.
A Miss Grand International spokesperson told People magazine, “Chanago handled the unexpected incident calmly, allowing the event to conclude safely. We are proud of her.”
