[SPOTV News — Reporter Yoon Uk-jae] Singer Kim Kwang-jin, known as a die-hard Kiwoom fan, is set to take the mound at Gocheok Sky Dome.
The Kiwoom Heroes named songwriter and singer Kim Kwang-jin to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before their game against the Doosan Bears at Gocheok Sky Dome next month on the 1st at 6:30 p.m.
A devoted fan who calls himself the \"Kiwoom Guardian,\" Kim debuted in the music business as a songwriter in 1991. He went on to form the group The Classic in 1994, producing a string of sentimental hits including \"Magic Castle,\" \"Longing Girl\" and \"Letter.\"
He is also scheduled to sing the national anthem that day. \"I'm honored to throw the first pitch for the Kiwoom Heroes,\" Kim said. \"After three challenging seasons, I expect the team to move fans more than anyone might imagine this year. I'll deliver a strong pitch filled with my enthusiastic support.\"
