Casamia, a living-and-lifestyle brand, has introduced a new cooling-performance bedding line called Sierra to respond to an earlier-than-usual heat wave.
The Sierra line employs cooling-performance fabrics across its bedding and living-textile range and features a high-performance contact-cooling material called Duralon-Cool.
Duralon-Cool is a yarn produced using specialized, chemical-free manufacturing that delivers lasting coolness and fast-drying performance. By promoting thermal convection between skin and fabric, it feels cool on contact; its higher thermal conductivity compared with other fibers enhances the contact-cooling effect.
Lightweight, it reduces discomfort in use, and its superior moisture- and sweat-wicking properties quickly dry perspiration during sleep to keep users comfortable. The material also shows strong resistance to staining, making it a hygienic option for summer bedding.
Casamia expanded the Sierra lineup to include bed pads, pillow pads, two types of pillows, a body pillow, sofa pads, and two kinds of cushions so customers can experience the cooling effect across many indoor surfaces during the summer.
The collection uses a clean, refined diamond pattern and a crisp white color to blend naturally with a variety of interior styles. Edges are finished with 100% cotton fabric to improve durability and minimize skin irritation, and the backs of pads and cushions feature non-slip fabric to keep them securely in place during use.
