By Go Nari, EPN Enpinow — Jeon Won-ju has, for the first time, unveiled her son’s family home overlooking the Han River in a newly released video.
On the 12th, a video posted to the channel 'Jeon Won-ju: Protagonist' shows Jeon visiting her son’s apartment with family and guiding viewers through the rooms.
The broad living room, finished in white tones, and the riverside view drew immediate attention. Jeon praised the tidy, expansive space, saying, "It’s like a palace."
The daughter-in-law, stressing a pared-down lifestyle, added, "Because the view is so good, we kept the interior as simple as possible."
On the homebuying process, the daughter-in-law said she isn’t well versed in real estate and didn’t receive much help from Jeon. "I bought my first home after 22 years," she said.
She explained that she had lived under long-term leases and moved seven times. The family eventually moved into the apartment after it was rebuilt and remodeled.
In the video, Jeon reflected on a past hip surgery. She recalled feeling fearful before the operation and a sense of relief afterward.
The daughter-in-law said she lost sleep worrying the surgery might go wrong, and that the episode underscored how precious her mother-in-law’s health is.
Jeon is known to have built wealth through various investments. Last year, she drew attention on broadcast when she disclosed that her SK Hynix stock had returned more than 600%.
