Starting March 10, the service applies to select fashion items
Kurly plans to gradually expand coverage and product range as it doubles down on the fashion category

Kurly has rolled out a self-exchange service focused on fashion items.
The move is meant to streamline the exchange process and eliminate the hassle of having to contact customer service separately, improving overall convenience for shoppers.
On the 17th, industry sources said Kurly has been operating the self-exchange option for select fashion items it delivers since March 10.
Because Kurly’s business has long centered on fresh foods, the company previously relied on hands-on intake that required agent confirmation.
As Kurly expanded into categories like fashion, it determined that standardized exchanges could work for uniform items and rolled out the new system.
The new feature simplifies the process by letting customers request exchanges directly from their order history.
Customers can also view exchange request histories and status updates in their order history, so they can track progress without contacting support.
After submitting an exchange request, customers receive pickup and processing updates via Kakao AlimTalk (or SMS), making it easy to stay informed.
Kurly will initially apply the feature to fashion items and then gradually expand it to more products and categories.
Since late 2023, Kurly has been expanding beyond food and beauty into fashion to strengthen its business mix.
Notably, women's apparel sales jumped 140% in the first half of last year — a clear sign of momentum.
This year, Kurly plans to hire fashion merchandisers and expand its product lines to further boost competitiveness.
A Kurly spokesperson said, “We expect the self-exchange system to further enhance customer convenience. We plan to curate brands more deeply, focusing on hires with fashion expertise.”
