A fire at a dishware wholesaler in Hadong County, South Gyeongsang Province, burned for about five hours before firefighters brought it under control.
According to fire authorities, the blaze broke out at the wholesaler in Hoengcheon-myeon, a township of Hadong County, at about 12:17 p.m. on the 28th. Fire crews had the main flames under control by 5:08 p.m., roughly five hours later.
Fire officials said stacks of disposable plastic dishware stored inside the building complicated suppression efforts.
No casualties have been confirmed, but part of the building was damaged and property losses were reported.
An official said authorities will assess the full extent of the property damage and investigate the cause once the scene is fully secured.
