On the 9th, Jinju City held the 2026 Young Farmers Capacity-Building Training at the Agricultural Technology Center to strengthen young farmers' skills and expand networking opportunities.

About 50 people attended the event, including newly registered young farmers and members of the Jinju Association of Young Entrepreneurial Successor Farmers.

The program focused on improving communication skills and fostering a sense of community among young farmers. Sessions included communication and etiquette training, a lecture on successful sixth-industry projects, and time for participants to exchange information and build professional networks.

Attendees responded positively to the communication and etiquette training and the lecture on sixth-industry successes. Officials said they expect the program to provide practical support for strengthening farm management skills. Participants also engaged in open information sharing and idea exchange, which organizers say increased mutual understanding and laid the groundwork for stronger ties and greater cohesion going forward.

Son Nari, head of the workforce development team, said, "I hope this training strengthened communication and cooperation among young farmers. We will continue to offer a range of support and training to help young farmers settle in and grow."
