The Blue House’s Office of National Unity said it invited 12 prominent YouTubers and creators to the Blue House today (March 9) for an event titled “Dialogue with Young People of Diverse Perspectives” (Dasichung Dialogue), aimed at improving communication with younger generations.

Attendees included gaming YouTuber Doti (2.38 million subscribers), influencer Lalal (1.97 million), and beauty YouTuber Leo J (1.45 million).

Doti stressed the need to establish positive norms so young people drawn to the creator field do not gravitate toward sensational content. Leo J recommended practical support—such as simultaneous subtitle translation—to help K-beauty creators expand abroad.

The creators also urged concrete measures to address the spread of misinformation and the unchecked proliferation of AI-generated content.

The Blue House said it will continue to listen directly to young people and pursue more familiar, flexible modes of communication from their perspective. It added that, like the president’s recent presence on the short-form platform TikTok, the administration intends to move away from traditional, formal, and authoritative communication styles.
