Yoon Hee‑shin, the People Power Party (PPP) candidate for Taean County mayor, has launched a youth campaign committee and begun expanding her youth organization.
On the 29th, Yoon's campaign held a launch ceremony and an appointment ceremony for the Youth Election Committee at the campaign office. Youth committee officials and supporters attended the event.
At the event, Yoon said, "I will make Taean a place where young people can pursue their dreams and genuinely feel happiness," and added, "I will work with young people to plan and realize a brighter future for Taean." Attendees responded with enthusiastic applause, signaling strong support.
The youth committee named Seong Gwang‑hyun (30) and Jin Chang‑hoon (29) as co‑chairs. Approximately 30 people, including Song Da‑hae (22) and Kim Gi‑yong (26), were appointed as vice chairs.
Committee members are expected to take on a range of roles during the campaign, from proposing policy initiatives to conducting on‑the‑ground activities. Yoon said she will use the youth organization to incorporate the perspectives of local young residents into her campaign pledges and operations.
Co‑chair Seong Gwang‑hyun said he aims to expand the youth organization to about 300 members before the official campaign period begins, ensuring that young people's views help shape campaign activities.
