The People Power Party convened a party meeting earlier and adopted a resolution apologizing for the 12.3 declaration of emergency martial law and announcing a severing of ties with former President Yoon Suk Yeol.
In the resolution, all party lawmakers apologized to the public for the disappointment caused by the 12.3 declaration of martial law and emphasized they are firmly opposed to any calls for former President Yoon Suk Yeol to return to politics.
They added that they will refrain from remarks that exacerbate intra-party divisions, focus on the electorate, and consolidate their efforts going forward.
