President Lee Jae-myung published a photo confirming a gift he received from Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. On the 3rd, the president posted photos and a video on Instagram showing his dog, Bobby, wandering across the lawn. He captioned the post in Korean and Indonesian: “Bobby wearing the clothes President Prabowo gave him,” and added, “Played excitedly in his new outfit and now resting after getting tired.”
During last month’s state visit to South Korea, President Prabowo reportedly presented Lee with clothes and a leash for Bobby. President Lee tagged Prabowo’s account and wrote, “Is Indonesia’s Bobby staying healthy, too?”
By addressing Prabowo’s pet—also named Bobby—and sending his regards, President Lee appears to be reinforcing the personal rapport between the two leaders.
