Cheonan City Council announced on April 2 that it will launch hands‑on, tailored training to strengthen staff support capabilities ahead of the 10th council’s inauguration. The initiative is designed to reduce confusion in administrative and legislative support tasks during the early days of the new term and to establish a swift, efficient support system for council operations.

The council will begin with comparative visits to advanced councils from April 9–10, followed by a capacity‑building workshop for policy‑support staff on April 16–17. From April 28–30 it will run a practical pre‑opening training course, and in May plans to visit the policy site at the Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo.

This training program will be a key stepping stone in preparing for the successful launch of the 10th council. By enhancing staff expertise and responsiveness and maximizing the efficiency of council work, the program is expected to contribute to the development of Cheonan City Council and help shape its future trajectory.

Secretary‑General Jeong Gyu‑un said, “For stable operations during the council’s opening phase, staff expertise and teamwork are essential. This training will strengthen our practical support capabilities and ensure we are fully prepared for the 10th council’s inauguration.”
