With the 9th nationwide local elections approaching, the Democratic Party’s Gyeonggi Provincial Election Management Committee has released the results of its 16th re-evaluation of candidates for provincial and local assembly seats.
On May 7, the party’s Gyeonggi branch disclosed re-evaluation outcomes for Namyangju’s 6th electoral district and the Da district in Pyeongtaek.
Notably, the review produced a head-to-head Democratic primary in Namyangju’s 6th district between former Gyeonggi provincial assembly member Lee Chang-gyun and incumbent Yoo Ho-jun.
