[EPN Enpinow reporter Go Nari] Dog trainer and behavior expert Kang Hyung-wook offered a candid appraisal of singer Son Tae-jin's voice on Channel A's The Time of Dogs and Wolves 2.
On the April 8 broadcast, Son Tae-jin, who has cared for pet dogs for eight years, appeared on the show and shared anecdotes with Kang Hyung-wook and host Kim Seong-ju.
As soon as Son entered the studio, Kim Seong-ju and Kang Hyung-wook praised him. Kim lavished compliments on his singing voice, and Kang quipped, \"I thought Kim Seong-ju was the best until now.\"
Son delivered a powerful rendition of Choi Hee-joon's \"Hasuksaeng,\" filling the studio with his performance. Kang, impressed by Son's deep baritone—Son was born in 1988—noted with a laugh, \"Dogs probably wouldn't be big fans of that.\"
On the program, Son tackled the dog-behavior monitoring segment with probing questions and a serious demeanor. Kang praised his observational skills, saying, \"I've never had such deep questions before. It felt good.\"
Viewing problem dogs' behavior from an owner's perspective, Son participated with focused engagement and also demonstrated polished hosting ability. Although he has worked across multiple entertainment genres, critics say this appearance broadens his range into pet-focused programming.
Starting at 6 p.m. on the 15th, Son will release a remake EP titled Promise of Spring across streaming platforms. On the record, he reinterprets classic songs in his own style to pay tribute to senior artists.
