[SPOTV News reporter Moon Junho] Girls' Generation member and actress Seohyun moved fans after sharing photos of the calluses and torn skin on her fingers following a violin collaboration.

On the 16th, Seohyun posted a lengthy message to her social media, saying she felt honored and happy to take on a new challenge and reflecting on a recent special orchestra collaboration.

The performance was staged by Sol Orchestra, an ensemble of amateur musicians. Invited as a special guest, Seohyun gave her first public violin performance. The released photos contrasted her elegant gown with the visible toll of practice: callused fingertips and torn skin covered with bandages, an image that deeply resonated with fans.

Seohyun admitted that fear came first when she decided to try. As someone who didn’t major in music, she said she felt intense pressure and uncertainty about whether she could deliver on such a big stage.

She extended thanks to her teacher, the conductor, and the orchestra members, writing, "Thank you for joining me in a clumsy but sincere performance." She added that she hopes classical music will continue to bring small pleasures to people’s everyday lives.

Some viewers questioned whether her appearance amounted to special treatment for a celebrity, but Seohyun's steady preparation and earnest effort drew praise from fellow entertainers. Actress Lee Jung-hyun applauded the performance, and actress Kim Jae-kyung, formerly of Rainbow, called it impressive. Mighty Mouth’s Shorry sent an encouraging emoji, and fans showered Seohyun with support, saying things like, "That’s our Girls' Generation maknae," and "Hard work pays off."

Meanwhile, Seohyun is carefully considering her next acting project and will continue preparing to meet audiences again.
