Agency DooOver Entertainment announced on March 13 that Lee Hi’s exclusive contract with the company ended on March 6.
The agency said, "While our formal partnership has come to an end, we sincerely look forward to and support the new directions Lee Hi will pursue," adding that they hope fans will continue to show steady interest and affection.
Lee Hi first rose to public attention as the runner-up on SBS's K-pop Star in 2011, where her soulful voice drew widespread acclaim. She made her official debut the following year with the single "1, 2, 3, 4." She signed with DooOver in September 2024.
DooOver was co-founded by Woo Won-jae, Gray and Code Kunst. Its current roster includes Gary, chef Yoo Yong-wook and Coogie.
