On March 28, Lee Hi went live on social media and revealed she was with Dok2.
The pair opened the stream from a studio ahead of a 6 p.m. release for a new single. Lee Hi pointed at Dok2 with a playful look, and Dok2 casually put his arm around her shoulder, showing comfortable public affection.
Earlier that afternoon, IZE Magazine posted on its official social channels that Dok2 and Lee Hi are in a romantic relationship and that they will release a duet titled \"You & Me.\" The outlet said the song captures the emotions and energy of a long-distance relationship, and the duo chose it as their first public release because it best expresses those feelings.
The two also announced the launch of a new label that day, 808 HI RECORDINGS. Lee Hi, who parted ways with her former agency Duover on March 13, is now starting a new chapter with Dok2.
Dok2 was born in 1990 and is 36 years old. He began performing in 2005 on Dynamic Duo's track \"Circus\" and later rose to prominence alongside The Quiett as a co-founder of Illionaire Records.
Lee Hi was born in 1996, six years after Dok2. She appeared on SBS's audition program K-pop Star in 2011 and debuted as a solo artist the following year, earning acclaim for her soulful voice.
