
On the 31st, Woollim Entertainment said, "The exclusive contract with our artist Kwon Eunbi will come to an end. After long discussions, both sides agreed to respect each other's positions and conclude the contract."
The company added, "We sincerely thank Kwon Eunbi for her constant dedication and the many vibrant performances she has delivered. We wholeheartedly support her as she embarks on a new chapter."
Shortly after, Kwon Eunbi posted a handwritten letter. She wrote, "I have decided to conclude my exclusive contract with the agency I have been with for a long time. From my trainee days until now, this has been a precious and valuable journey with people who worked so hard for me."
She continued, "The moments on stage, and the time spent reflecting and working hard behind the scenes, remain a great gift to me. I sincerely thank everyone at Woollim who supported me. I also deeply appreciate the fans who always stood by me and gave me strength. Because of you, I endured difficult times and was able to keep moving forward."
"I now stand at the start of a new path, carrying the love so many of you have shown me," she added. "No matter which road I encounter next, I will remember what I’ve learned and the overflowing love you gave me, and take one step at a time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Kwon Eunbi debuted in 2014 as a member of the girl group YeA and promoted with them until 2015. In 2018, she joined Woollim as a trainee and appeared on Mnet's Produce 48, earning a spot in the project girl group IZ*ONE. She gained popularity through active promotions, later transitioning to a solo career and releasing hits such as "Underwater."
