[Sports Today Reporter Jeong Ye-won] Actor Kim Nam-gil is set to make his official debut as a singer — not a one-off stunt — through a collaboration with production duo Rocoberry.

Kim will release his first single, "I'm Coming to You," at noon on the 26th across major online music platforms.

"I'm Coming to You" highlights Kim's powerful, explosive vocals over a bright, energetic rock arrangement. He plans to follow this release with a series of rock-leaning tracks, and fans are closely watching his full-scale move into music.

Expectations are high in part because Rocoberry — the producers behind mega-hits such as Jo Jazz's "Don't You Know?", Ailee's "I Will Go to You Like the First Snow," Paul Kim's "Goodbye," and Gummy's "Remember Me (For All My Days and That Time)" — handled the production on "I'm Coming to You."

Over the years, Kim has demonstrated mature vocal technique and a resonant, emotive tone through fan meetings, musicals, and OST contributions. He earned particular recognition for his vocal ability with the domestic single "Is It Wrong to Love?" (2010), the 2013 drama Yawang OST "You Don't Know," and the Japanese single "Roman."

Teaming up with Rocoberry to mark a fresh start as a recording artist, Kim Nam-gil's single and music video for "I'm Coming to You" will be available on various online music platforms beginning at 12:00 p.m. on the 26th.

Kim will then hold the 2026 fan meeting "G.I.L" at the KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on the 28th, where he will give the live premiere of "I'm Coming to You."
