On the afternoon of the 23rd, Yuna held a press conference at the Pullman Ambassador Seoul East's Grand Ballroom on the 1st floor in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, to mark the release of her solo debut album, Ice Cream.
At the event, Yuna said, \"I'm here today on my own, without the other members. Thank you for coming — I'm as nervous as I was when ITZY debuted. Please give me a lot of love.\" She spoke to reporters with a mix of gratitude and anticipation.
She added that the day felt particularly meaningful because she was presenting herself not as ITZY's maknae but as a solo artist. She said she was both nervous and excited for the release of Ice Cream.
Releasing her first solo work after seven years, Yuna acknowledged the pressure but said it also fueled her determination to do well. She credited fellow member Yeji's successful solo activities with inspiring and helping her prepare.
Yuna noted that group performances require five members to move as one, so for this solo project she had to take on many responsibilities herself. She admitted she missed her bandmates and said her strongest asset as a soloist is her bright, natural energy.
That evening at 6 p.m., Yuna released her solo album Ice Cream and its title track of the same name, becoming ITZY's second member to pursue solo activities following Yeji.
The title track \"Ice Cream\" is a bouncy, addictive bubblegum-pop song. With the message that \"this moment melts sweetly like ice cream — don't miss it; enjoy it fully,\" the track aims to inject energy and joy into listeners.
The release includes the title track along with mood-driven songs: \"B-Boy,\" which channels a free-spirited vibe; \"Blue Maze,\" a soft, dreamlike portrait of a loving moment; and \"Hyper Dream,\" a dramatic, richly layered invitation to step into a dream world. Together, the tracks offer varied textures for listeners to explore.
