On the 10th, BELIFT LAB posted on the Weverse platform that the agency had been discussing ENHYPEN’s direction and next goals. In in-depth conversations about each member’s future and the group’s trajectory, the company said it recognized Heeseung’s distinct musical vision and chose to respect his decision.

Accordingly, ENHYPEN will continue activities with six members — Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Niki — while Heeseung pursues a solo path. BELIFT LAB said Heeseung did not want to place his personal ambitions above the team, and that the other members showed considerable consideration for him. The agency added that the move should offer a chance for both ENHYPEN and solo artist Heeseung to take a new step forward.

Heeseung also addressed fans directly on the community. He wrote, “The past six years have been filled with moments too precious to put into words. Thanks to the members and ENGENE, I was able to take steps toward dreams I once thought out of reach.”

He continued, “I’ve been doing personal work and have many things I want to show fans, but I didn’t want to put my own ambitions ahead of the team. I’m preparing an album so I can see you again as soon as possible. I’ll come back in a better state.”
