BMW Korea said on the 9th it will expand its bespoke ordering program, BMW Individual, to better reflect customers’ varied tastes and personal styles.
Launched in South Korea in 2024, BMW Individual lets buyers specify exterior colors, interior materials and trim. The program is available on five flagship models: the 750e xDrive, i7 xDrive60, i7 M70 xDrive, X7 M60i xDrive and the XM Label.
With the expansion, BMW Korea has increased the number of possible option combinations from roughly 22,000 to as many as 300,000. The company says it now offers 150 BMW Individual paint colors and finishes across the models, enabling customers to dial in subtle differences in hue and surface treatment.
BMW also introduced new perks for customers during the order-to-delivery wait. Buyers can take a long-term test drive in a like-series vehicle while they wait, and will receive invitations to pre-delivery events such as the BMW Excellence Lounge and the BMW Ladies Championship.
The BMW Individual program is currently active at seven showrooms nationwide. BMW Korea said it will expand participating showrooms in phases so more customers can experience the program.
