IVECO Korea has reopened the IVECO Dangjin Service Center (operated by Daehong Engineering) in Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province.
The Dangjin Service Center sits in a central logistics hub that serves major domestic ports such as Pyeongtaek and Dangjin and several industrial complexes, including the Daesan petrochemical complex, the Asan National Industrial Complex, and the Seokmun National Industrial Complex. It also offers strong highway access, located about 1 km (0.62 mi) from the Mencheon IC on the Seosan‑Yeongdeok Expressway and roughly 5 km (3.11 mi) from the Dangjin junction on the Seohaean Expressway.
The center provides professional, efficient service across IVECO’s full lineup — from tractors and cargo trucks to midsize commercial models like the Daily. It operates five work bays and is focused on minimizing customer vehicle downtime and keeping fleets running reliably.
Given the high maintenance demand from tractor and cargo customers operating across the central region and nationwide, experienced technicians apply IVECO’s service expertise to help lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and maintain vehicles in peak operating condition.
Rather than increasing the facility’s footprint, the renovation aimed to raise the quality of the maintenance environment and the customer experience. Workflows and equipment layout around the five work bays were reorganized to improve service efficiency and safety. Lighting, ventilation and floor conditions were upgraded to enhance actual work quality, and the parts warehouse was reorganized to streamline repair flow.
The reception area and customer lounge have been refreshed to provide a more comfortable waiting environment, and a cafeteria has been added so customers can dine while they visit.
IVECO Korea Branch Manager Choi Jeong‑sik said, “We’re pleased the renovated Dangjin Service Center will offer a more comfortable, professional service environment for customers in the central region and those operating nationwide. We will continue strengthening our national service network to improve customer experience and service quality.”
The Dangjin Service Center is open Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. To mark the reopening, the center will offer gifts to visiting customers on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
