[Korea Financial News reporter Chaeyun Jeong] Ryu Seok-moon, CEO of Hyundai AutoEver, said on the 26th that the company will raise its technology and quality standards this year to support Hyundai Motor Group’s transition to a software-focused mobility company.

Speaking at the 26th annual shareholders’ meeting at Dongil Tower in Seoul’s Gangnam district, Ryu said Hyundai AutoEver will sharpen its identity and capabilities as a mobility tech company.

The company plans to expand its business along two core pillars—enterprise IT and in-vehicle software—and to establish a global-standard security response framework to strengthen its digital technology operations.

Ryu said the company delivered steady growth across all business units last year and recorded a meaningful increase in corporate value.

Hyundai AutoEver reported revenue of ₩4.2521 trillion (approximately $3.19 billion) and operating profit of ₩255.3 billion (approximately $191.48 million) last year. Both figures rose 14.5% and 13.8% year over year, respectively, marking the company’s best results since its founding.

At the shareholders’ meeting, attendees approved the financial statements, partial amendments to the articles of incorporation, and the appointments of inside and outside directors as proposed. Kim Doo-hoon, head of Hyundai AutoEver’s ICT Business Division (executive director), and Kim Jeong-won, head of the Finance Division (executive director), were appointed as new inside directors. Choi Won-sik, CEO of LPV&Co, was newly appointed as an outside director and as a member of the audit committee.

Meanwhile, Hyundai AutoEver updated its internal rules to align with the amended Commercial Act, including removing the clause that excluded cumulative voting.
