[MyDaily = Reporter Cheon Ju-young] South Korea’s advanced mobility design expertise is pairing with China’s manufacturing infrastructure to pursue global markets. The Korea-China Entrepreneurs Association (Chairman Kim Hoon) announced on March 30 that it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with domestic VIP protocol vehicle specialist DTCH (DTech) Group and KMULLER, a custom vehicle manufacturer based in Tianjin, China.
Attendees at the signing included Kim Hoon, chairman of the Korea-China Entrepreneurs Association; Seo Hyung-won, the association’s secretary-general; Professor Yoon Jong-young of Hanyang University’s College of Engineering; Im Yu-seop, vice chairman of DTech Mobility; Ye Sun, chairman of KMULLER; and KMULLER executive vice presidents Li Winchang and Wei Guangchang.
The agreement centers on combining protocol-vehicle design with local production. DTCH — led by Professor Yoon Jong-young — will be responsible for designing protocol buses that integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and precision engineering. KMULLER will manufacture those designs and supply the vehicles to the Chinese market.

At the ceremony, Chairman Kim described the agreement as a meaningful example of companies from both countries leveraging their strengths for concrete industrial cooperation, and he stressed the potential to expand synergies in the premium mobility sector. During the visit, both sides inspected KMULLER’s production line and held in-depth discussions on quality control and technology transfer.
Professor Yoon said the company’s strong design capabilities, combined with KMULLER’s manufacturing capacity, will produce protocol vehicles with global competitiveness. Im Yu-seop, vice chairman of DTech Mobility — which handles DTCH Group’s global distribution — outlined a plan to use China as a hub to expand the premium mobility business beyond Asia and into global markets.
The partners also plan to move beyond simple vehicle conversions and develop “mobile premium spaces” based on large buses.
