JLR Korea said on April 3 that it has launched the Range Rover SV Black — a luxury SUV defined by an all‑black aesthetic — in South Korea.

The Range Rover SV Black joins the existing SV family (Serenity, Intrepid) and extends the lineup’s black‑themed design across both exterior and interior surfaces.

On the outside, the vehicle is finished in Narvik Gloss Black and features a gloss mesh grille, bonnet lettering, wheels and brake calipers all in black. It rolls on 23‑inch forged wheels and carries a black ceramic SV roundel at the rear.

The cabin features satin‑black trim paired with near‑aniline ebony leather. Seat tops show a gradient rectangular perforation pattern and unique embroidery. For the first time, JLR has introduced a single‑panel seat cover to minimize visible stitch lines and seams. The interior is completed with natural black birch veneer and a satin ceramic gear selector.

The SV Black also raises in‑car audio immersion. It comes standard with Body & Soul seats and a Sensory Floor, where transducers embedded in the seats and floor translate audio signals into synchronized vibrations. The system works with the Meridian Signature Surround Sound and integrates with the vehicle’s in‑cabin wellness programs.

JLR Korea unveiled the Range Rover SV Black on April 2 at its newly opened SV Bespoke Studio in Gangnam — the first in the country. The studio offers a commissioning program that lets customers specify exterior colors, interior materials and embroidery details, creating a truly one‑off Range Rover.

At the launch, the SV Bespoke global head of sales traveled to Seoul to present the brand’s philosophy and values. British premium audio firm Meridian Audio also participated, giving customers a hands‑on opportunity to experience the brand’s sound system and design.

The Range Rover SV Black is priced at 362,670,000 KRW (approximately $272,003) with the One Care package and the reduced individual consumption tax applied. Customers can order the long‑wheelbase model in 4‑seat or 5‑seat layouts through the Land Rover online store.

Robin Colgan, CEO of JLR Korea, said the Range Rover SV Black symbolically represents the brand’s vision and offers discerning customers a more evolved sensory experience and distinct value. He added that it was significant to introduce the model at Korea’s first SV Bespoke Studio, where customers can experience the SV philosophy in person.
