Cassia Sokcho, the upscale hotel in Sokcho, Gangwon Province, is rolling out a spring wine and whisky promotion.
The hotel announced on the 13th that it’s offering a limited-time lineup of premium New Zealand wines and single-malt Scotch at attractive prices.
First up, the fourth-floor buffet restaurant Vista is hosting a wine discount event.
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc is reduced from 140,000 KRW (about $105) to 100,000 KRW (about $75), and Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir drops from 160,000 KRW (about $120) to 120,000 KRW (about $90), tax included.

At the bar and lounge Bosco, Cassia Sokcho is featuring Bunnahabhain, the Islay single-malt, at special prices.
Bunnahabhain 18-year, 12-year and Stiuireadair expressions are each 20% off, now priced at 744,000 KRW (about $558), 296,000 KRW (about $222) and 224,000 KRW (about $168), respectively (tax included).
There’s also a three-glass tasting set, the “Islay Spring Expedition,” available for 30,000 KRW (about $23).
A Cassia Sokcho representative said the promotion was designed to let guests enjoy a variety of drinks that pair perfectly with seasonal cuisine—without breaking the bank.
The promotion runs through May 31.
