팔로마 [RealFood reporter Yook Sung-yeon] Ayoung FBC, a diversified drinks company, is throwing a month-long celebration called 2026 Ocho Tequila Paloma Month. Throughout May, 29 top bars and restaurants nationwide will spotlight Mexican tequila brand Ocho (Tequila Ocho) in events leading up to International Paloma Day on May 22.

The Paloma is Mexico’s beloved national cocktail — tequila brightened with grapefruit soda and a squeeze of lime, finished with a salted rim. Tequila Ocho is celebrated as the world’s first single-estate tequila: each bottle notes the harvest year and the specific agave farm, bringing a wine-inspired terroir approach to tequila.

Twenty-nine venues across the country, including Mood Seoul, Sab Seoul, and The Pairing, are joining Paloma Month. During the event they’ll pour the Ocho Paloma (Ocho Plata + grapefruit soda + salted rim) and the Ocho Ranch Water (Ocho Plata + club soda + lime), alongside signature cocktail creations. Restaurants will also offer an Ocho three-tequila sampler — 20ml each of Plata, Reposado, and Añejo — plus curated Ocho pairing menus.

At every Wine Nara location, customers who purchase Ocho tequila will be entered into a drawing for invites to an Ocho Paloma pairing tasting. The tasting is scheduled for May 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Pairing on the 6th floor of Jamsil Avenuel.
